My sun flower main course plate!!! yuhoooo!

I can't rotate this picture ~_~

This fellow is as big as my main course plate! biggest "piece" of flower i have in the yard! i grew it from seed given by a very kind vegetarian store's auntie. It's grown in a pot but surprisingly it turned out to be a clump this big with no fertilizer and sometimes forgot to even water! Cheers me up everytime i look at it :) it is very rewarding to see a barely 1 cm size of seed turning to a 1.7 meter tall of a tree @.@
I can safely say this is THE flower to grow for dummies! lol
I'm so tempted to cut it out and put it in a vase! wonder how long it'll last. hmmmm... what should i do?

HELP!!! cut it or leave it???

As usual when i wake up, my doggies will come running towards me to send me their wet kisses. This morning, My Schnauzer~Oscar, as he was rushing towards me, he accidentally knocked down 1 of the Phal pot. At first, i just picked up the pot and put it back. Later, when i had my second glimpse, my heart sank as i saw ALL the leaves are torn apart. oh godd, it took 3 years for this potty to grow to this size, in a split second all the leaves are gone. I'm just praying hard that it won't die with all the tearing leaves! sob.... sob..... my heart is as torn as the leaves. sob............
Keep reminding myself, hey, no attachment here pls! this plant don't belong to me. i can't bring it along if i die, right? so it's not mine. let go... let go.... let go.... nothing is permanent.... detach detach detach.... hahahaha...do i feel better? well maybe... a weeeeeeeeeee bit (when i'm not looking at it). Why do human love to create pain for themselves i wonder? so if u ever feel sad when u lose something or someone, try this method, ask yourself: can i bring it along if i die? if the answer is NO, then there's NO need to feel sad because that something or someone won't go with you when you are dead! (i know, it's easier said but i'll try to practise... erk hmmm...)
heheheheehe.... me and my "chimalogy"! only me, myself and i can understand (hubby always complain: i don't understand what u're posting in your blog!)... hahaha... who cares?!

subject: "can't think of 1"

side view, with 1 other sister

This fellow makes me itchy!!! caught it chewing up my Aerides Odorata aerial roots!!! ishhhh!!!
anyone know name for this flower? As usual, too busy caring for my Orchid and neglected others that's blooming. it has a very sweet Vanilla+Jasmine scent.
there... i made this "orchid tree".
a "simply" made method for making an "Orhid tree":
1st, i simply saw a tree branch of bout 1 meter in height outside house compound.
then, i simply tied up few seedling Orchids and "bird's nest" plant with sphagnum moss onto the tree branch.
i thought it looks quite cool, yeah? took me only half an hour to make. thinking to make another one if i come accross any more nice branches @.@
One more bud open up from the Bellina... really nice scent and sooooo beautiful...mmmmm.. i wish i could post its scent here too... hahahaha....

"Just for today,
I will be patient to people who annoy me!"

oh goddd! it's easier said than done i think. "i don't want to be a hypocrite" i thought. second thought: "shouldn't i be sincere with what i do??"

Eating Fruits Correctly

Got the following article from an email. So i thought of sharing with everyone here. Most Asian consume fruits after meal while the Westener consume their fruits and salads before their entree. It's difficult here in the Asia i think cos fruits will be always served after lunch or dinner in local eateries. sometimes i'd ask the server to bring the fruits first before the entree and i always got a "?" look on their face. The only fruits picture i have. shot in Matahari supermarket in Jogja (^-^)

"Correct Way of Eating Fruits

EATING FRUIT - Guide

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and
just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think It's
important to know how and when to eat..

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! - FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN
ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role to
detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for
weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD - Let's say you eat two slices of
bread and then a slice of fruit.. The slice of fruit is ready to go
straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented
from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid..
The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach
and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You
have heard people complaining - every time I eat water-melon I burp,
when I eat durian (fruit from Asia with a foul smell yet delicious
flavor) my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running
to the toilet etc. - actually all this will not arise if you eat the
fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other
food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the
eyes - all these will not happen if you take fruits on an empty
stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are
acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to
Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have
mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of
beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT
from the cans.. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't
eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only
get to taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you
should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because
you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits
and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised
when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium,
vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a
low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoid which enhances
the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon
cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total
antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from
cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE: Sweetest medicine, eating 2 to 4 oranges a day may help keep
colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well
as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also
packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune
system. They are also a key source of lycopene - the cancer fighting

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners
for their high vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber, which
helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good
for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can you believe this??

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to
you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats
and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a
meal.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10
people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read
this...It could save your life! "
